The bridge is glued and clamped. It’s a nervous moment because the guitar is almost finished – around 150 hours of work has gone into it – and the key, final component has to be accurately glued on without the slightest error. In preparation, the underside of the bridge has been shaped to the arch of the soundboard’s dome and the caul inside the guitar has been appropriately shaped, too.
